Managing your financial future
The key to financial independence is not necessarily having a lot of money to invest. It is not necessarily being in the right place at the right time neither is it luck nor being a financial genius. The game plan for your success is planning; it doesn't take a genius to figure out that you can't reach a destination without a road map. When you plan make it flexible but stick to it.
The fundamentals for financial independence are so simple and obvious. A lot of people spend all their life time looking for a better way to get rich quick scheme only to find out that if they had done the little things that mattered they would have being in good shape.
Most people have too much of the month left at the end of the money with no extra income to invest for the future, no matter your income it is your priority to save before you spend.
Building your financial estate is a great idea and if you are serious about it don't give up too easily. One of the most important concepts of financial management is “paying yourself” and no matter your financial obligation make it a priority to save.
Adjust your priorities and take control of your spending habits by spending money on the things you actually need because too often most of our purchases are want based. Establish a budget within your means and live within your budget, stick to it and this will make a whole world of difference.
To build a good financial future does not require having lots of money to be able to save and invest but by using consistency, discipline and time in managing your resources will do the magic.
It is important you establish an emergency fund before you start your savings build up, most people start up their saving scheme only to abandon it when they have an emergency to take care of and end up spending their savings.
Invest in areas within your skill set and where you are knowledgeable and have sufficient understanding.
Watch your pennies and see your dollar grow.
All true!!!!
I'm a HUGE believer in budgeting properly!! I'm always amazed at how many people out there don't budget properly and thus live waaay above their means :(
