#film and #movies curation; 10k SP delegation; Steem Chat #movies channel
The world of cinema is something I cherish deeply. It's something that manages to capture raw emotion through various methods. Something that brings us together, despite our nationalities, religious beliefs, or lifestyles. Cinema is something to be explored, even by those who just consume those marvellous creations of others.
Here on Steemit, we have an incredible amount of leverage regarding the types of content we can create and share with the world. We're given the potential to express ourselves freely, and not only at no cost, but we are capable of being rewarded for it; rewarded for further expressing opinions and ideas.
Dwindling rewards here on Steemit as a result of a bearish market sentiment and lack of overall interaction has led to the amount of people taking advantage of Steemit's features and freedom drastically decreasing. We have all felt the burn, we have all questioned whether the effort of creating is worth it when you're not even certain if it's reaching anyone, and I want to help change that.
Fortunately, with some truly kind help from @eeks in the form of a 10,000 SP delegation -- and my absurd amount of free time -- we can begin to push forward with the #film and #movies hashtags, which have slowly lost the sheer amount of creativity and ideas being shared over time. We can begin to create a community where such opinions and ideas aren't just shared, but are being fairly rewarded.
I believe a large part of reviving the #film and #movies tags can be done through Steem Chat, given the #movies channel holds 150~ people as of typing this, and is a perfect way to get your posts -- old and new -- seen by more people, including me. That said, I will often be cruising through the two tags, searching for both written and video reviews, features/opinion pieces, and even independent filmmaking.
The Steem Chat #movies channel can be found by just clicking this unnecessarily long hyperlink.
Let's start creating, sharing, expressing, curating, and truly making Steemit a great place for all those who love cinema.
I'm crossing my fingers it will work out. Also, I think that publishing posts from steemit outside of steemit might help. At least that's what I do with comics posts.
That's something I would do if I had the chance, but I don't actually have any other social media outside of Instagram, where I post my photography.
I see. I generslly post of Twitter links to my steemit posts, but I don't think anyone notices the different site.
I wrote and i am still writing about movies, cinema and most of all tv shows, tv series from 7 months right now. I did this day by day with strong passion, many many project but unfortunately I write my article in italian language.
I am very interested to promote and push the creations of movie and tv content.
This kind of activity need to be incentivate and upvoted properly in order to reward the authors.

Regardless of the language, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your content from here on. :)
This is really good. Thanks @namiks! Thanks @eeks! It's a great way to bring back the Steemit movie community, and get us all to know each other.
I completely agree. I think the difference that's been made within just a few days is already something to be proud of. There's a lot of people like you that just aren't getting the rewards they deserve; and with this SP that's something we can work towards fixing.
And as a result, the great content will only continue to pour in. :)
Super good =)
