The Pursuit of Happyness

Chris Gardner, is a modest sales representative whose non-regular income is precarious. His family life is greatly affected: Linda, his companion, is struggling to endure their way of life. Disappointed, she leaves Chris with Christopher, their child then five years old. While he was preparing for the umpteenth time to promote his inventory of medical machines, Chris meets a rich broker on the stock market and discovers an ambition: to become happy, become a broker. He then does everything to gain the attention of employers and ends up getting a volunteer internship in a reputable brokerage firm, with a great opportunity at the key. But riddled with debts and without money, his financial distress catches up with him and he will have to struggle to preserve his dignity, encouraged by his son's love.
