Bisekleta Goals
I have a confession to make: I do not know how to ride a bike.
I never learned. Yes, I tried.
Parang initiation rite.
Parang agimat.
Kaya naman inantay ko. Pero di dumating. Di ako nasugatan. Di natuto.
A few years ago, my dad bought a bicycle as a gift to his grandkids.
Sadly, that plan was never realized. Yet.
Kaya hanggang ngayon, I still do not know how to ride a bike.
Saklap noh?!
Uhm, teka.
So never take the littlest joys in life for granted. Because for every one of your skills -- may it be riding a bike to playing the guitar, or even knowing how to whistle, there may be tons of people (such as me) who wish they can do whatever you can.
Sa ngayon, aasa ako na balang araw I can ride that bike baby.
The night before this was written, the author had a very vivid dream that she was riding a bike. She felt the wind. She seemed to fly ..in happiness. Only to realize it was just a dream.
