  I disagree we should be apathetic to the problems of the world. Those who are in a fortunate position like us have a responsibility to help those who can't help themselves. We have a responsibility to care.

In terms of the things in your own life, less stress is best for sure! A lot of people lose the ability to switch off and just exist when they reach adulthood (real adulthood... full time job, mortgage/rent, kids etc.). Practise makes perfect :p
