Muay Thai and Buddhism in Thailand
It's always fascinated me how in Buddhism, martial arts have played an important role in some factions. In the West, people don't normally associate hand to hand combat with religion. Here is a short clip explaining how the two came to be so interconnected in Thailand, but I'm pretty sure this is only scratching the surface.
