Manjuur massacre in Khulna, injured 7

In the Khulna City Corporation (KCC) election, BNP mayor candidate Nazrul Islam Manzur was found to have been attacked in the election.

On Thursday (03 May) at around 6pm, BNP activists said that seven activists of Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal were wounded in the attack on Manjur connection procession at Alamnagar Bazar in Khalishpur, Khalishpur.

Suddenly, the people of the ruling party led by Awami League joint general secretary Munshi Nazmul Alam Nazu, attacked the people of ruling Awami League 15 on the back of our mass contact. In this incident, seven leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami Alamin Talukder Prince, Juba Dal activist Abdus Samad were injured.

Awami League's local activist Golam Rabbani and Munshi Nazmul Alam said that some of the BNP's procession rally suddenly torn off the poster of the poster on the road, and during the incident. It caused tension between the two sides.
