Travel to Kaliningrad

I want to tell you about my city, where i living .
Kaliningrad (formerly known as Königsberg)has a unique geographical position on the Baltic shore, a great history, good infrastructure and all opportunities for investors. It’s a major city of the historical state of Prussia and the capital of the former German province of East Prussia, partitioned after World War II between the USSR and Poland, and renamed after Mikhail Kalinin.
The oblast forms the western part of the Russian Federation, but it has no land connection to the rest of Russia. The region is in an unusual geographic location, being cut off from the rest of Russia by the Baltic States. Since the fall of the Soviet Union it has been an exclave of Russia surrounded by Lithuania, Poland, and the Baltic Sea. Kaliningrad is the smallest region of Russia.
Kaliningrad region has its spectacular and unique nature, sights of history, cityscape. If you are staying in Kaliningrad for a couple of days you will enjoy a stroll around the city’s Altstadt (Old City) with its grand cobble streets and beautiful “German ruins”. Newly reconstructed Fishermen Village – is worth visiting.
Also, it’s better to rent a car or use public transportation to see the sea side towns: Svetlogosrk and Zelenogradsk. However there’ is plenty of sight , museums and other places to visit in the city. For example The Regional Art and History Museum or The Amber Museum, just to let know Kaliningrad is called the capital of amber country. More than 90% of the world's explored amber reserves are found in Kaliningrad Region.
As the region is located in the Baltic shore fishing had become one of the important regional industries, with big fishing ports in Kaliningrad and Pionersky (formerly Neukuhren) and lesser ones in Svetly and Rybachy. The region’s biggest river is Pregolya
A pearl of the region is Kuronian spit–protected spit of Dunes and sandy beaches reaching into the Baltic Sea and connecting Kaliningrad with Lithuania. It’s the best place not only for resting and enjoying great sceneries but also for excursions and expeditions.
Also Kaliningrad got the many beatiful places which you should visit at the 2018 on the FIFA championship.
