[DISCOVER] 🎥 Lucifer - The Devil On Vacation in Los Angeles (no-spoilers)

In the series "LUCIFER", the devil is taking a vacation from Hell and landed in LA, where he owns a nightclub, to take some time for himself. After 5 years he meets an LAPD detective, with whom he partners up to solve murders and punish the people who need punishment. This is a very interesting and fun interpretation of what the Devil would be like as a human on earth.

Portrayed as a rich high class Englishman, the Devil discovers humanity and his own true goodness. After all, the devil was an angel once upon a time. In this series the creators did a very good job in combining sex, relationships, good vs evil, family values, and most importantly, humor!

The background of the Devil doesn't follow the religious stories to the letter, but enough to make it worthwhile to believe it is really based on it. Besides Lucifer himself, you'll also meet his right hand, Mazekeen and his brother, Amenadiel. All of whom, at some point end up talking to the same shrink.

What I find most brilliant about this show is that Lucifer never ever denies or hides the fact that he is the real devil. In fact, he is having trouble to make people believe he actually is. They walk this line so well that you see exactly what he means when he refers to his real self, yet it can still be interpreted completely different.
