Hey Im super impressed!!!! I love the little details like the orcas and the divers, it really helps build a sense of this world. Theres little edits I would make with a pedantic editor hat on, but probably not until I read the next chapters. For instance, the detail of the languages professor. Would he say that into his recording device, given he probably knows him? Maybe he would say 'until I speak to Reynolds' and that becomes an intriguing detail to be picked up on later?
