Wild Cat Beginnings
Rain fell down, hitting the hard ground. A small white coloured pelt dashed through a small narrow path.
“Go! Quick! Go get her!” Loud barks rouse behind her. She shut her eyes.
What if they get me? Her mind said. I hope I can get out of this horrible place.
A loud thud hit her ears. She opened her eyes. An orange flame burned up in front of her, burning all the greenery and bark. She hissed at the sight of it, terrified.
“Fire! Fire! Run!” The barks and snarls stopped and turned into whines.
She felt something pick her up and carry her off. She shut her eyes, and hoped she wouldn’t get hurt.
She woke up, with something around her neck, in a small place. The place looked weird. She sniffed the ground and noticed she was in the human place. She was in one of their dens, but she spotted a way out. She rushed towards the flap, but before she squished under it, she got snatched up by the human.
Days passed and she got used to living here. At least she was away from the dogs. She was safe here.
Cats bury their feces to cover their trails from predators.
