ABDUCTION Part one

It was a dark night. The moon lost its luminance as the clouds grew closer together. The leaves on the trees waved slowly as if in time with the whistling of the night owl. Aside from that, it was quiet. Sarah sat quietly on her cot. Her threadbare mattress barely covered the springs. Dark spots showed on her back where the springs had broken free and poked her all over. Those were not the only spots present.
Her night shift was torn. She wondered why she bothered wearing anything again. It was not as if he had any regard for her clothes. He merely tore them off and had his way with her. She rotated her wrist in the socket. She winced as a sharp pain cascaded down her spine. Her back hurt from when he threw her across the room. She had not tried to run this time and that was what he hated.
He wanted her to cower. To beg on her knees. To scuffle and clutch his ankle. He loved the tears, he loved the helplessness. He loved the power. He was a sick man.
She continued nursing her wounds. She couldn’t dare ring the bell to ask for an ice pack Clenching her teeth, she rolled over and gently laid on her stomach. The pain seemed to lessen but it was like taking a cup of water from an ocean, so much still remained. The pain stretched all the way to her toes. Bare feet slapped on the ceiling above her. His feet dragged across the top of the trapdoor where she had been stowed away for a very long time. She held her breath as she listened to him pull on his boots and heard the clink of his keys being shoved into his pocket. The front door slammed shut. His pick-up sputtered to life and drove away noisily in the quiet night. She could not believe her luck. He left. This was a good night.
She jerked awake when she heard the front door slam open. She heard the noisy laughter as he came into the house. He was not alone. She Heard then, three of them slamming the door and popping open the beer bottles. She say up quietly clutching her knees to her chest. Rocking back and forth and praying to be forgotten.
“Saraaaaahhhhh” a hoarse voice cooed. She covered her ears with her hands.
A voice followed “Who are you talking to?” a drunk laugh followed as he continued “ Clint come in here. He has finally gone crazy”
Her captor ignored them and pulled the carpet covering the trapdoor.
‘Clint’ was a bit slow and had a lisp at the end of his voice. “He is drunk Darren ”. What a grand declaration
Darren laughed throatily “And so are you”
Tears cascaded down her face. He had finally done it. He had finally brought his friends home to share. Maybe it was because she didn't cower or beg. She held her breath as the trapdoor was lifted.
“Gentlemen,” her captor grinned showing tobacco stained teeth “I told you that you were jn for a surprise “
She glanced up at the men staring down at her. Two in surprise and one in boredom. She latched on the bored look. Her breaths became faster and her chest tightened. He was bored of her. She smiled internally as she digested the information. He was bored of her.
Clint and Darren quickly overcame their surprise. A short ladder made it’s way into her little shack. She became even smaller. Her torn sleeve fell over a shoulder. She looked into their eyes hoping to find a semblance of humanity in them but she found nothing. She only found monsters and animals circling a prey.
Her captor spread his palms before him “she is all yours”
His companions smiled and advanced. She withdrew into herself and her body became just a body. As her remaining scraps were torn of her, her spirit was broken down even more. The thought came again. He was bored of her.
As foreign hands roamed over her malnourished body, she came in full grasp of it. He was bored of her. Why was she happy? He was not going to drive and leave in front of her parents house. Not alive anyway. Maybe in several pieces buried where nobody will find her.
He was going to kill her. The thought drove her out of her hiding place inside her. No matter how she tried to hide, she could not. Her consciousness flared . She was going to die. It was as certain as the sun rising.
For the first time in years, she felt every thing .
