Hah, I was wondering the whole time what the uncanny valley had do with the story and then... There it was! I'd never thought of it that way. This is a highly original twist on a classic form, in my opinion. As for scientific concepts as stories, I've got a challenge. AI is a typical theme, but would a sentient machine built from a quatum computer experience reality differently from us? Would it feel the superposition of possibilities at an emotional level?
