Tihar is the 2nd major festival of Nepal in Hindu pantheon. Tihar is also one of the longest festivals of Nepal. It is celebrated during 5 days. Tihar is also called as the Deepavali or Diwali. Tihar is also known as the festival of lights. Tihar often falls in in the month of Kartik-Mangsir according to Nepali Calendar. Say, it falls in October-November month. Tihar starts from Kaag Tihar (Crow Puja) and ends with Bhai Tika (Brother and sister puja).
