Feminism: A sham and Destructive force that is taking away Equality from the female gender?

Racism, Gender inequality and the likes have become topics that has become causes of controversies in recent times. You almost cannot turn on your television without hearing people debate about this. The topics are now so innate that people take it for granted.
Taking myself down the memory lane to a few years ago, these topics were not so popular as people treated these topics as issues that are mostly being tackled and there is little to no reason to discuss more on this.
The reason for the sudden reemergence of these topics that they have now become factors through which presidents are chosen, national and international policies are being forged and the society as a whole has been thrown into pandemonium cannot really be ascertained. Were these issues never gone, but due to the sudden rise in the use of social media, they are easily brought to light or is there a group of people that are benefiting from the sharp divide caused by these controversial issues?
For me, i will go for the latter. Now what they stand to gain, i cannot ascertain as they may vary from one group to another. For example, the mainstream media gets to push their propaganda through these platforms while the leftists politicians get to have larger control on its people using these issues as propaganda to push their own policies.
Feminism as i see today is a destructive force that takes away power from the women and has made them more dependent on the system. It is so destructive that it is disrupting the essence of family and leading many homes to their doom. African American women today can be said to be supposedly "independent woman" who nobody can tell what to do, and it is in these community that there is a hike in single parenting. The effect of this goes beyond the traumatizing experience of growing up for the children but has an impact in the society at large. This might be link to the increase in crime rate in these communities. Another thing is the entitlement mentality that is now prevalent in the society.
Basically, For me, I believe that the rights of females are well catered for in the constitution as they basically have equal rights with men. Now for the feminists to come and say there is no gender equality is absurd as it is well know that there is nothing that humans are evenly represented. The level of representation of groups of people in something is usually determined by their level of action and qualification in that thing.
