With the current success of black panther and wonder woman, I'm hoping the doors are now open for a Storm origins movie. I mean, come on, that's the best next step in the Marvel universe. I hear that a Kitty Pryde movie is in the writing process.
But, who the fuck is excited about a freaking Kitty Pryde movie?

I have this strange feeling that Marvel is going to use the Kitty Pryde story to appeal to white feminist. Besides that, I wonder what her appeal will be. I mean the lil bihh runs through walls. THE END. Forgive me if I'm a bit ignorant of Kitty's story but I don't know that hoe. lol
Kitty Imma let you finish in a minute but Storm has one of the best storylines of all time.
Plus Storm has had a gigantic following since her introduction to the universe. Kitty, on the other hand, does not. I know that Marvel has had success producing films based on lesser-known characters like dead pool, but come on!!!! Y'all gave us a watered down weaker version of Storm in all X-men movies when Y'all know good and damn well that she deserves better.

Well storm is part of the X-men franchise which fox still owns the rights to and they have been more interested in milking Wolverine for everything his worth rather than exploring the other characters in the X-men universe.
Maybe now that Logan has closed that chapter they'll move onto others like Gambit, Jean & Cyclopse.
They already recast storm in the apocolypse movie so im sure you'll see more of her in phoenix but as for a solo movie you'll have to wait
Marvel are looking at doing their first female stand alone movie in Ms Marvel and also Wasp will be featured in the new Ant-man

well, Disney owns the rights to all Marvel characters so we wont have to worry about fox butchering any more characters. and I don't think anyone is excited about a Mrs marvel movie. she's another character that they'll have to sell to people that are into the cinematic universe. Why cant they just give us what the people want. They keep trying to make these lesser known characters special and ignoring the ones we all know and love.
Yes to all of this. We deserve a Storm film. We need a Storm film. And now that Disney owns this part of the pile, they'd better be working on one.
