Any case studies to show that effective tagging brings in more upvotes?
From what I can see, it really comes down to engaged followers instead of hashtag usage.
good feedback and I tend to agree with you. It seems that ppl follow ppl rather than following tags (topics and subjects). This is similar to facebook, but different than Reddit, for example. I think this could change if "communities" ever rolls out or we get a better interface to use. I've recently moved to Busy.org (https://busy.org/busy/@ashe-oro/i-m-moving-to-busy-org)
Yeah I think the ability to use multiple hashtags has destroyed part of the value that Reddit offers. Like I sit on /r/entrepreneur constantly, but if you look at #entrepreneur or #business here on Steemit, it's flooded with crap.
I've thought about it.. and may move there at some stage, but don't they take a % of your author rewards? I know Dtube/steepshot do.
