‘Father’ of the internet

Tim berner-lee,while working as a independent consultant at a nuclear research laboratory in 1980,developed an innovative way to storing imformation in a program named enquire.
That work was later used as the foundation for the development of a global hypertext system l_popularly knowns as the internet or the World Wide Web.
WWW was developed to increase the ease with which people could exchange information.this became a reality with the introduction of the first WYSWIG ( what you see is what you get ).
