Warning: Noobie in Action
So a few days ago, I've been thinking a lot about earning some extra pocket money. But then again, there's no way anyone's gonna hire me because I'll be leaving to further my studies again in a month's time. And then I remembered, I have a bunch of dresses I don't wear anymore, why not try and sell them and hopefully be able to earn some money from there? So, with the help of my friend Crystal, we decided to have a little photo shoot with the dresses. Lets be clear, I am NOT good and very into these photo-posing-modelling stuff, but hey, its to put a nice picture for a dress to sell right? We are not professionals, but at least I got to learnt a thing or two in the process!
Warning: Cringey photos ahead.
I learnt that beige walls are the bomb. And I found out that my friend looks good in red too! Doesn't she look sweet and elegant?? Crystal has pale skin (me too). So if you have pale skin like us, pastel colors would look good on you. However, strong colors like red or dark blue looks great too! In this case, Crystal looks pretty in red :3 Not only strong colors makes you outstanding in the crowd, (for us pale people), it also makes you look more refreshed, energized and confident! And of course, a little red lipstick doesn't hurt ;)
Work it gurllllllll.
And now its my dress. (its so cringy im sorry, not a pro*) So I got this dress about 3 years ago? And I only wore it once during my prom night. Its in light beige color and I liked it the first time I saw it. It looked a little Greek to me and I liked the soft color. Not only that, it has a long piece of cloth on one side of the shoulder. (Ps: its an award winning dress for that night :p)
I realized that heels would look even better with this dress instead of flats. I was wearing flats while taking this pic, but for long dresses, and for a formal occasion, I think it would be better to wear heels or wedges (just my opinion), because the dress is long and heels MAY be easier for you to walk around and it adds to your height. Flats and flip-flops are great for casual occasions too, whether you're wearing a maxi dress or not. But of course, comfort is key. Stay away from stilettos or tall heels if you're not feeling it. Ultimately, wear what makes you feel good and comfortable!
I guess that's all for now! Thanks for stopping by :')
