RE: Against the odds! My son 1-0 dyspraxia
Your Son, clearly already knows a very important bit of info...
...that many allegedly, intellectually sophisticated adults haven't even realised...
Societies labels, tage and diagnoses mean jack!
Yes, of course they will sometimes manifest in many ways as we are growing, sometimes they may cause distress because of not being able to easily do what others can, BUT...
In the big scheme of things, the second we decide...I mean REALLY decide we are gonna accomplish something and put our heart, soul and mental tenacity behind our intent...
That obstacle doesn't stand a chance!
Your story is actually a perfect metaphor because it not only included a mental target and bullseye, but an actual target and bullseye too.
Our kids sometimes teach us a damn site more about a situation than we could teach them in a year. His self satisfaction, and his Father's pride, will have felt like an olympic gold to him, I'm sure.

THANK YOU @stevenwood. will certainly not be holding him back as much as i have been in the past as he has proved that when you want something you can get it it just takes that extra percentage and it can be yours. so proud of him. i know that for most it just firing a bow and arrow but for my son it was climbing everest.
