AGRICULTURAL BI-PRODUCTS :UTILIZATION OF AGRICULTURE BI-PRODUCTS
Animal production plays a key role in improving the economy in the agricultural countries. In order to achieve a possible productivity, animal nutrition is the main focus. Foods play an important role in improving the nutritional status of various forms of livestock feed and diets because they contain various amounts of macro and micronutrients essential to growth and productivity of the body. Previously, these crop residues were treated as waste by farmers and disposed of in the surrounding area, causing widespread pollution. However, to realize the importance of these remnants and invulnerable costs of animal feed and fertilizers and environmental challenges, farmers have changed their strategies and began the industrialization of these remnants as useful byproducts for animal feed. , By-products of cotton, sugarcane, peanut, soybean and palm oil production may be useful as animal feed. Research on the use of these products as animal feed is the need for an hour to meet the demand for animal nutrition and indirectly for the nutritional needs of a fast-growing human population.

UTILIZATION OF AGRICULTURE BI PRODUCTS
Sheep represent a significant proportion of the ruminant population in Ghana. There is a growing interest in pig farming in the backyards of city dwellers, but their main problems are the availability of food as their animals can not roam or graze freely, as happens in the village. ,
The agricultural by-products available in Ghana include straw, corn, coconut, coffee and yam, taro, banana and cassava. The nutritional issues that arise with the use of these byproducts, the treatments required to improve their nutritional value, and the economics of sheep feeding have been discussed. Other major problems associated with the use of these by-products are loading, transportation, storage and processing.
In villages, in the south of the country, it is proposed to provide grazing animals with mussels. In the villages in the north of the country feeding with grain and legume straws should be promoted. In cities, it is proposed that commercial feed mills prepare diets for these by-products for sale. It is also necessary to improve the growth rate and feed efficiency of local pig breeds if they are intense in the cities.
Agricultural by-products that can be used in sheep rations include rice bran, sun dried bird dung, ground coffee, coconut shells, manioc cups, bananas, taro and sweet potatoes, cereals and corn stalks.
For cereal and legume straws and corn cobs, the main limitations are their low digestibility due to the lignification of their cell walls, which make up the bulk of the materials. Besides cowpowder straws (for crude protein), they are also low in crude protein, water and most likely some essential minerals. Straws also have a lack of vitamin A.
