Hello friend of the farm today I will teach you how to make homemade soy milk and the benefits it offers to our health. Soy does not contain cholesterol and only a negligible amount of saturated fat, therefore it is healthy for the heart because it can reduce cholesterol levels and the risk of coronary artery disease.
It is a healthy alternative for people with allergies or lactose intolerance, casein and gluten
Soy Milk is a traditional drink of Asian cuisine that is obtained by grinding soybeans and mixing them with water, so it is a fully vegetated drink.
Soy milk is produced from soybean seed and provides a nutritional content similar to cow's milk.
It is an excellent choice for people lactose intolerant, for vegetarians and vegans and a good low-fat option.

A glass of soy milk contains 4 grams of fat, of which a small amount, 0.5 grams are saturated fat.
It has no fat or cholesterol, so it is a good choice for a healthy diet.

Macronutrients
A 250 ml glass of soy milk provides 100 calories, 8 grams of carbohydrates and 7 grams of protein, similar to cow's milk.
It also contains necessary amino acids that are not produced by the body.

RECIPE OF HOW TO PREPARE SOYA MILK
Ingredients for 2 liters of milk
300 gr of soybeans (as far as possible without peel and not transgenic).
Liter and a half of water.

SOURCE
PREPARATION
To start, we wash the soy well, discarding grains with different color or those that are broken.
Then, we put the soya beans to soak for 12 hours.

SOURCE
Now we drain it and take the soybeans to the blender (first without including the water). You have to process it well, to obtain a thick milk.
Next, we include water, trying to get a little more juice in the company of water.

SOURCE
Then we have to filter the milk. And for this we need a cotton cloth, in order to separate the solid remains of the milk. It's very important.

SOURCE

We take it to a casserole over medium heat.
Every time you see boiling and rising the foam, remove the pot from the fire to come down, and then put it back. We remove it well.
We have to repeat this operation until it no longer foams (about four or five times). Once it boils without foaming, let it simmer for 25 minutes. Soybeans should be cooked well, it is essential.

Finally, you can take it to the fridge to let it cool down. Remember that vegetable milks can not be consumed beyond two days.

NON-DESIRABLE EFFECTS:
Soy products contain isoflavones, which can interfere with the way thyroid hormones work.
A study by the Nutrition Department of the Harvard School of Public Health found that daily consumption of soy can reduce sperm production.
Soy can be a reactive allergen for some people, and develop anaphylactic reactions to soy.
People who take large amounts of soy products may be more likely to develop mental problems.
Soy can cause gastrointestinal problems for people not used to eating it.
It can also cause difficulty falling asleep and migraines.
