Kazemi is the Eastern most island in the continent of the Wetlands, and has an estimated population of 110,000.

The Kazemi community are regarded as a curious people, having no concept of property, ownership, parenting or monogamy, and participating in orgies on a frequent basis.

As a result of the orgies, the fathers of the newly conceived are never known, and the children born are nurtured and raised by the community as a whole. There is little-to-no significance placed on birth-mothers, and consequently no notion of "my child" - only "our children."

The Kazemi population is believed never to act violently towards one another, but have been known to be aggressive towards some travellers, who frequent the island in the hopes of communing with the seers who are said to dwell in the forest.

The rainforest in Kazemi is vast and home to the most diverse range of vegetation in all of Manaia. Various fruits are plentiful in the region and provide sustenance to the growing community.

The people of Kazemi have no names and live in and below trees, with no homes constructed anywhere on the island. They are forever in the nude yet seem not to be burdened by the cold.

There is a unique language utilised on the island that is unlike any found elsewhere in Manaia, though the language is very limited and seems to be used most often for mass-rituals of which the purpose remains unknown.

Some in Manaia believe the Kazemites to be a representation of man in its original form, while others believe them to be devil worshippers and a sex cult fathered by Slaekin himself.

Several scientists throughout history have observed the Kazemites closely and speculated that they are entirely without an individual sense of self. It is postulated that their ego is tied to the entire community, but that each individual has their own slightly altered perspective on the larger community as a whole.

Manaia is a free-to-use universe for authors and creators, and the set of the upcoming fantasy series Sons of Gods.
