A Call For Unity And Oneness For Families Torn Apart By Social Services (Join The Fight @familyprotection)
Hello to all the proponents of "Family Protection" who have been greatly supportive to the @familyprotection initiative and hello to the Steemit Community at large. I would love to share a short story I was told when I was way younger. A story that has gradually shaped my life and relationship with others. Please take the patience to read through, it will take just a few lightning seconds!
Once upon a time, there were four neighboring kingdoms in the west, east, south and north, who lived apart and sought out their interest and business independently. They never had a conflict neither did they have a uniting force either. A lukewarm relationship they had!.
The eastern kingdom was under siege by some alien forces from a far away land. Words for support and military assistance was sent across the rest three kingdom in the south, west and north but no one helped nor sent reinforcement. Every king said "we have nothing in common, every kingdom should sort out their own problems", they all turned their faces away and the eastern kingdom crumbled to ash.
The same forces came against the western kingdom and the southern kingdom one after the other, in each case words for support were sent to all standing kingdoms but they all stood afar off saying "we have nothing in common, every kingdom should sort out their own problems". Three kingdoms had fallen and the Northern kingdom was last standing.
The Northern kingdom was strong, nevertheless in no time, it was under siege too, they were frustrated and needed to send words for military support. They looked west, east and south and found no one to come to their aid for they had all fallen since no one gave support when they needed it. The northern king shook his head in regret murmuring to himself "I should have helped when I had the chance to, I never knew we would ever be under siege one day, what a shame"!. The northern kingdom fell and heavy was it fall.
This words of advice I received in my young age have been "one among numerous" factors that gradually shapes my world, even our world, for a call to unite against a common plight. The life we live isn't really complete if we don't help those in need, families who are on the verge of obscurity, families at the claws of CPS, families who have lost or at the verge of loosing their dearly loved kids.
Your family is safe right now doesn't mean you shouldn't fight for those who are on the unfair side, it should be the more reason why you need to help another family out there. Remember, "What goes around, comes around". So, lets come together Oh Steemians!, with a voice united, a will so strong and strength so great to stand firm for a family today.

I liked the story, contained a strong punchline to help those who are victims, and standing against them(CPS) give us more opportunity to drive them far away from our own family!
Very correct Mate, the best way to help yourself is to help and fight for the good of others,. When others pains become your pains, that is what will make this world a better place.
Sadly, I must say that for me children are all and everything. Sadly, because I have lost my belief in family, still suffering from my own childhood abuse (into teenage years and beyond) and witnessing how my children's mother together with those despicable "social services" continues her selfish and cruel crusade. I have no belief left in family. I believe in love, respect, kindness, empathy, my children and friendship. I acknowledge that therein lies a big irony because it is family that should provide all of this and be your best friends. I do not have it, I do not see it. I am my children's father but I like to think of myself as their best friend.
I am really sorry you had to pass through all that., yes love, respect, kindness and friendship are the virtues a Family needs to provide their children. I think you can make a change with your own kids, only you can make them believe that family is everything. Only you can Be that beautiful shine and light you never had yourself to your Kids, and they would always know that "Family is everything" because of the love and care you have shown them! Thank you very much for making the cause more effective and meaningful. So selfish social service over there just to making money. The birds always looks better and have good life in forest same as children only have better life with family, parents, mother.We will keep raising our voice and hope one day on street with strong unity by creating massive awareness.
