Flying Small Plane to the Isle of Wight

For his 18th birthday, we bought my son, a flying lesson that involved him flying us to the Isle of Wight and back in a small plane.

It was a really wonderful day and, although I was a little nervous, especially at take off and landing Prentice did a great job.

I photographed this view from the window as we took off from the Isle of Wight and headed towards Southampton, before flying along the south coast of England, back to Shoreham Airport.
