“Who are you to JUDGE another’s SERVANT? To HIS own MASTER he STANDS or FALLS. Indeed, he will be made to STAND, for GOD is ABLE to MAKE him STAND.”
Romans 14:4 (NKJV)

• A Christian should have discipline in talking. Some people believe they can say whatever they like (James 3:2).
“For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect [mature] man, able also to bridle the whole body.”
James 3:2 (NKJV)

  • Someone who is well fed, who enjoys a level of comfort from God, and has experienced His goodness; may decide to do or say what they should not—because such is lacking in wisdom (Deuteronomy 32:15).

• Some on social media sites criticize and condemn ministers of God. Some even mention the name of the minister—castigating and speaking derisively about the minister and his ministry.

  • Doing such a thing is not ethical or wholesome. You do not denigrate, belittle, a minister of God or his work.
  • A Christian who has met Christ should know how to tame his or her tongue (James 3:8-10).
  1. “But I say to you that for every IDLE WORD men may speak; they will GIVE ACCOUNT of IT in the DAY of JUDGEMENT.
  2. “for by YOUR WORDS you will be JUSTIFIED, and by YOUR WORDS you will be CONDEMNED.”
    Matthew 12:36,37 (NKJV)

• The fact that you are on social media site does not mean God is not aware of what you do—say or post.

  • Some throw caution to the wind, and talk, post things that a Christian should not.
  • Remember, an affront, insult to a minister of God, is an affront to God. What you do against a minister—God takes personally (Acts 9:1-5).
  1. “He PERMITTED no one to do them WRONG; yes, He REBUKED kings for their SAKES,
  2. Saying, “Do not TOUCH MY ANOINTED ONES, and do MY PROPHET no HARM.”
    Psalm 105:14,15 (NKJV)

• If you persecuted a minister, you have persecuted the Lord Jesus Christ who sent him (Numbers 12:6-8).

  1. “Then he fell to the ground, and heard a VOICE saying to him, “SAUL, SAUL, why are you PERSECUTING ME?” And he said, “WHO are you, LORD?”
  2. Then the Lord said, “I AM JESUS, WHOM you are PERSECUTING. It is HARD for YOU to KICK against the GOADS.”
    Acts 9:3:4 (NKJV)

• If you disagree with a minister, you should not go on at him on social media to denigrate him—belittle him and his work.

  • Even if the minister is not of your denomination, you do not have the right to castigate or criticize him. We can disagree without being disagreeable, that is, without being unpleasant.

• It is high time that Christians learn how to walk in oneness, respecting one another (1 Thessalonians 5:14,15).

  1. “Let LOVE be without HYPOCRISY. ABHOR what is evil. CLING to what is GOOD.
  2. Be kindly AFFECTIONATE to ONE ANOTHER with brotherly LOVE, in HONOUR giving PREFERENCE to ONE ANOTHER.”
    Romans 12:9,10 (NKJV)

• If you are guilty of what is shared in this piece; repent and go to God that He may have mercy on you (Acts 3:19).

• You will not fail in Jesus’ name.
Peace!
