5 FOR HE ISSUED HIS LAWS TO JACOB; HE GAVE HIS INSTRUCTIONS TO ISRAEL. HE COMMANDED OUR ANCESTORS TO TEACH THEM TO THEIR CHILDREN,
6 SO THE NEXT GENERATION MIGHT KNOW THEM—even the children not yet born—AND THEY IN TURN WILL TEACH THEIR OWN CHILDREN."
7 SO EACH GENERATION SHOULD SET ITS HOPE ANEW ON GOD, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.
8 THEN THEY WILL NOT BE LIKE THEIR ANCESTORS—stubborn, rebellious, and unfaithful, REFUSING TO GIVE THEIR HEARTS TO GOD."
Psalm 78:5-8 (NLT)

• Whatever you are privileged to know, or being taught, God allows it, and He would want that to be taught to others (2 Timothy 2:2).

  • If you craved for the knowledge of God, that is, you are thirsting to know more of Him; I want you to know that God would satisfy your thirst or hunger: “HAPPY ARE THOSE WHOSE GREATEST DESIRE IS TO DO WHAT GOD REQUIRES; GOD WILL SATISFY THEM FULLY!"
    (Matthew 5:6 Good News Translation).
  • Knowledge bestows on you is a responsibility. The knowledge of God and His Kingdom which you had would be required to be taught to others (2 Timothy 2:2).
  • God would allow you to know of Him If you are thirsty, but it comes with a responsibility. The knowledge of God you had is not meant to be kept to yourself: "HE GAVE HIS TEACHINGS TO ISRAEL. HE COMMANDED OUR ANCESTORS TO MAKE THEM KNOWN TO THEIR CHILDREN" (Psalm 78:5 GOD’S WORD Translation).

• There is no other way to know about God without the knowledge of His Word. However, you know or have pratical knowledge of Him through the practice of the Word—the Bible—you know.

  • As a believer in Christ Jesus, the more you know God through the knowledge of His Word and the practice of it; the more you are expected to teach others.
  • And also, the way to grow in the knowledge of God is to give away, teach others, what you know of Him, God (2 Timothy 2:2).
  • So If you are trained or taught to know God, It was done or permitted by God for a purpose; that you may train others: "AND THE THINGS THAT YOU HAVE HEARD FROM ME AMONG MANY WITNESSES, COMMIT THESE TO FAITHFUL MEN WHO WILL BE ABLE TO TEACH OTHERS ALSO" (2 Timothy 2:2 NKJV).
  • As you share what you know with others, you are being replenished by the Holy Spirit. More light and understanding in God's Word, the Bible, would be given to you. Thus, the way to keep the knowledge of God that you have acquired is to give it away.

• You are to teach the knowledge of God you had to the people around you; spouse and children, colleagues and subordinates at work, and whoever is brought your way (Psalm 78:5).

  • God wants believers to fill the earth with the knowledge of His Word (Habakkuk 2:14). The mandate given to us in our ministry is to teach others all He has taught us!
  • When you know a thing concerning God and His Kingdom, you pass the knowledge across to others. Educate other people, teach them the Word of God. No matter how little you think you know, go ahead and teach others. You surely know better than some people, thus, go ahead and teach them what you know.
  • When you do this with a right heart, you have a fulfilment in your heart that could not be gotten through any other thing. The Scripture says there is Joy in heaven for a sinner who repented (Luke 15:7). Likewise If people were blessed by what you taught them concerning God; It gives you joy and fulfilment—even without any monetary reward. And besides, God has a way of compensating you for whatever good you do for the expansion of His Kingdom on the earth (Hebrews 6:10).
  • Thus, as you received the messages being shared with you, you should go ahead and share and teach it to others: "THE LORD GAVE THE WORD: GREAT WAS THE COMPANY OF THOSE THAT PUBLISHED IT" (Psalm 68:11 BRG Bible).

• The truth is, the more you bless others with the Word of God that you know, the more thirsty you yourself would be to know more.

  • Make the Word of God, the Bible, your companion. Do not allow it to depart from you, meditate or ponder on it day and night (Joshua 1:8).
  • You may necessarily not wait for when you would have ample time to read and study It. Read the Bible in transit! It has been made easier now, since most people have Bible apps on their phones, read it at any time and anywhere.
  • Some people think they would have to create a special time and day which they would be able to have a rigorous study. Such a time or day might never come. Just read a little here, a little there, you would discover that your knowledge of God's Word is increasing.
  • Although the time to study might be needed and necessary for whoever is in a leadership position, who has a responsibility to teach others. But someone who is weigh down by various activities for their engagements in the secular work might be procrastinating the reading and studying of the Word of God, but such a person might not read it at all at the end of the day. However, reading a bit here and there could be of help to such a person, and that would be better than not reading it at all.

• You will not fail in this glorious assignment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

  • Should there be any sickness or ailment in your body, I declare your healing and deliverance now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
  • The affliction which you are delivered from will never rise again in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
    Peace!
