The Facebook Messenger Kids app developed specially for children has also been released for the Android system.

Facebook introduced the Messenger Kids app in early December. In the first phase, it was presented in an experimental stage for the iOS system. Now this app has been introduced to everyone for the Android system. According to the current rules, children below 13 years can not use Facebook and Facebook Messenger. However, due to the easy login process, it is actually violated. Considering these factors, Facebook has introduced a separate chat app called Messenger Kids. This is the version of the Facebook Messenger specially for children. It is a messenger for age group 6 to 13. It will require a parent's account to login. That is, the children's parents will log in to this app. After this the parents will have control over this app. Parents will decide that with whom the child should chat. Also, to install this app, children do not need a separate account. It can be installed on the parent account itself.

Once the Messenger Kids app is installed, parents can determine the list of who their children should contact. They can chat with the people they've approved on this messenger. It offers both personal and group chatting. The chat will include words, images, emoji, animations, videos, stickers etc. All these things have been developed for children. That means there is no adult content in it. Also, Facebook will not have ads in the Messenger Kids app. It will not be allow to delete chat. Only parents have the right to delete. This will have parental control over it. The special case is that it is a standalone app, which has no in-app purchasing facility. This app is now also launched for Android and anyone can install it from Google Play Store.
