Have you seen the price of ETH?

I was a bit (pleasantly) shocked when checking the price of etherium just now, its 39.79, but I see it did go above $40 today. This is up from $18 only a week ago! I have read several alt coin sites trying to find an explaination for this amazing price rise. Better technology? A better block Chain? No one seems to have a good explanation. Any thoughts out there? Is it too late to buy more, or do we think it will continue to go up? Let me know!
