Russian Airline S7 starts using Ethereum Blockchain for booking Flight Tickets !!
Russian airline PJSC Siberia Airlines
Known as S7 has started selling airline tickets on the Etherium blockchain. Airlines bank has confirmed that they are able to provide faster transactions after adopting ether blockchain technology for ticket sales. In 2016 December, it was reported that S7 had executed the first of its kind service payment using the ethereum blockchain smart contracts through a letter of credit with Alfa-Bank.
There is also more good news coming from Russia. Aeroflot (Russia's largest airline) revealed that it had published a proposal for the introduction of digital currencies and technologies related to it into its operations.
