Mining of Ethereum and altcoin My great obsession

in #ethereum7 years ago

Hello community and miners

So many days reading researching, thinking about the perfect mining rig, But of course already everyone knows that riding a good rig is almost impossible.

Due to the lack of the best graphics cards 8GB AMD is practically extinct around the world

I thought of a rig cheaper but of course it is less demanding I just want to do the test and I would like them to give their opinion.....

Then my mining project:

 MOTHERBOARD:

 MSI 970A-G43 PLUS =60 USD

 PROCESSOR:  74USD

 USDAMD FX Series FX-4300 3.8Ghz 4X

 MEMORY:

  Kingston Digital 120GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5 Solid State Drive  :66USD

 2x RAM:

Kingston HyperX FURY Black 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 2133MHz DDR4  :130USD

  Corsair RM1000X 1000W 80 Plus Gold Modular: 200USD

And of course most important

The graphics cards

 RX560 4GB 130USD *5  = 650 USD

Well, the subject is already done in Spanish

But I also want to share it with the rest of the community.

This is a very economic miner.

The mining power would be 60-75 Mh / s = ETH

Total cost = 1180USD

thnks for all

I'm not sure yet, I'll get it soon

I hope suggestions

Sort:

look for a alt coin with similar value but lower difficulty and an active blockcahin ;)

ZEC -- and fork ZEN -- ZEN is still only worth '$8' but its new improved zec.

I suggest a change in the RAM, go with a single module instead of 2 (you save a super small amount of electricity) plus something much cheaper than the FURY.... You can same a good $30 with no problems.... if the purpose is to create a cheap rig, I think it makes sense... With ETH you should get back the investment in 3-4 months... Maybe you want to look at ETC, in one year time it may turn out to be a much better return :)

Thanks if of course I will think about ram memory;
And as far as mine was thinking about ubiq

Ubiq has some good groups that allows to get some good return... Problem I'm in Asia, so for me is out of the picture as servers are US or EU....

if you can afford a little more -- go with an even better GPU and join a pool you wont be successful independently.

True in a pool. not alone. And it is not very difficult a better card

i personally prefer NVIDIA to AMD -- but the price point i know lol -- why not buy 2 cards slightly better and try with crossfire. like an additional 2gb of memory. But the card cache is what makes them superior to cpu mining.

If clear that I know but it is that I do not realize a nvida 1070 is very expensive and offers 26 Mh/ s and with the same money as 36 Mh/s

Yes thats what i mean by price point -- so double up on the AMDs its best bet.

Hola, ¿te parece si nos seguimos? te dejo mi voto :)

very helpful post

Well thank you it's good to be useful

how much does one graphic card produces hashes

rx 560 4g 12-15MH/s
