Ethereum will pass bitcoins for #1 cryptocurrency

Ethereum won't be able to scale. And smart contracts are better suited to their own private, permissioned blockchains. ETH was an idealistic concept, I head there was a recent update that would help scaling, but I am yet to see any good smart contracts make an impact in ETH.
