Being accessible makes people feel comfortable around you, since they see you as a person. Maintain a certain level of dignity, and do not discus too many personal affairs, but be friendly. Your history of impressive accomplishments coupled with the fact that you are friendly will make you seem even more awesome in their eyes. And that is when they will truly respect you. As a robot, you gain reverence, not respect. As a person who has distinguished himself or herself but is still real, you gain lasting respect and loyalty.

"Give credit where credit is due "leadership. Make sure to recognize and honor the achievements of your employes and to give everyone a piece of the limelight when it is due. Show them that you are proud of them, and that you enjoy giving them the recognition they deserve, both privately and situation and person may call for a slightly different tactic.
As an effective leader, you should be able to recognize what is most appropriate.The common qualities of successful leaders are that they motivate encourage, and plant positive purpose. Remember that leadership is not just about directing and controlling. It is about inspiring.
