RE: Stop the Delphians (A 1,000 word sci-fi story)
Hey Blueyes,
congrats on your well deserved Curie.
I love your writing, your have a fine imagination and also loved the picture you used here. First looking at the picture and then reading helped me a reader to imagine way better.
Thanks for sharing it with us :)
@vibesforlife Thanks for the compliment. I can't really take credit for the picture though. It was a prompt presented by @blockurator for a science fiction prompt challenge on Narrative. He gave us 3 pictures to choose from (all good ones) and I picked this one. After studying the picture - the story came from that. I'm glad you thought I did the picture justice with the story!
Wow you studied the picture and made the story. Nice :)
@vibesforlife Yes, for some reason my imagination kicks in if I have a visual prompt to go with the word prompt. A lot of my stories I pick the picture first then work from there. In this one: https://steemit.com/microfiction/@blueeyes8960/heart-s-desire-a-microfiction-contest-entry-for-jayna the story was written almost entirely from the picture first.
That's talent of a kind. :)
