Moto2 will use a new engine from the British manufacturer, Triumph, starting the 2019 season to come.
Until this 2018 season, Moto2 is still using a 4-stroke cylinder engine in line 600 cc base of Honda CBR600RR.
Honda CBR600RR engine modified by Moriwaki, home modification engine racing origin Suzuka, Japan.
The new engine from Triumph will be higher than before, namely 765 cc with three cylinders in line.

A few days ago, a Electronic Control Unit (ECU) test was performed from Magneti Marelli in this bike.

Former 250cc and Moto2 racers who now work on the team Estrella Galicia 0.0, Julian Simon, was asked as a tester.
Earlier in the month of February, Kalex as the most chassis supplier in Moto2 has also done the test.
It's just that time Kalex has not done a test using ECU from Magneti Marelli.
Then another chassis manufacturer, Suter, still does not want to test before ECU from Magneti Marelli is really fix.
