Prologue

In the year 20XX

A scientist discovered the gene that limits a person's full potential from being used. The same year, the said scientist tried to remove the limiting gene... and he succeed.

The said discovery alters the face of the world, as psychics and mutants surfaced. Century after that and it's normal to see people summon fire out of nowhere, command the winds, and tranformed to another creature.

Flash forward to 21XX

Myriad City H

In a certain apartment complex, a young man with messy hair is heard snoring when suddenly, his phone's alarm blares. Startled awake, the young man tries to stop the alarm when he accidentally destroys the phone.

"S@#t not again!?!" Screamed the young man in frustration.

The young man's name is Codde, and a his a mutant. His power? Super strenght. Don't misunderstood, he's no superman, and his strenght is not as exagerated as it sounds. Instead, Codde possesses strenght four times of that a normal man.

His power is pretty useful but it also causes a lot of trouble for him. For example, this month alone he needed to replace his phone atleast seven times as he'd destroyed them due to being startled or shock.

Fortunately, his phone is of the inexpensive type, saving him from heartaches but couldn't save him from spending money unnecessarily. Of course he could've just bought an alarm clock instead but keeps forgetting to buy one for some reason. Hence, he could only uses his phone as an alarm clock—resulting in its destruction.

After a moment of silent and a few crocodille tears, he mourn the the fate of his innocent and poor cellphone.

"Well... I needed to buy a new phone anyway," said Codde to himself, as if justifying his carelessness.

Putting on his uniform, Codde grab a nutrient pack for breakfast, and ran towards school.

"These nutrient packs really tasted horrible. Why can't the manufacturer make it curry flavor or something?" He complained.

The nutrient pack was a groundbreaking invention that solved the issue of starvation all over the world. It is a cheap source of nutrition that can allow a person to survive the whole day without the need to eat anything else. Thanks to this, hunger had been totally eradicated, and became a tale of the past.

Not only that, it is also a popular diet product and slimming tool. Making it an instant hit to obesse people and women since the day of its inception. Thanks to this it could be considered the perfect food if not for the fact that it tasted really bland. Anyways, enough with the nutrient pack, and let us return to the story...

Codde, ran as fast as he could as not to be late to school. Thankfully, his power of super strenght also gave him four times the stamina of an average person. Therefore, he could run for a long time without panting.

Seeing the tall building of his school, Codde let out a long sigh of relief for not being late. But as he was about to enter the gate...

Bang!

A huge explosion rocked the vicinity of the school!
