NASA Wants to Send Helicopters to Mars.

in #esteem7 years ago

When NASA launches its newest vehicle to Planet Mars later, it is certain that the vehicle is a helicopter. Precisely, of course unmanned helicopter.

Mars Helicopter, as NASA named it, will be shipped on a 2020th Mars mission flight. The helicopter will fly through Planet Mars air.

Quoted from The Verge on Sunday (5/13/2018), this helicopter will be tested for its ability, whether it can be on the planet's gravitational atmosphere is 100 times thinner than the atmosphere on Earth.

The Mars Helicopter design is currently being worked on for the past four years by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. But NASA has not decided whether the helicopter with this design will be delivered to Mars, or there will still be design changes.

NASA also needs to decide that this technology is most likely to be realized and their institutions have enough funds to make it happen.

However, if the helicopter fails to fly, NASA ensures this will not affect the mission of Mars 2020. If Mars Helicopter managed to fly, this vehicle will be tasked with photographing a fuller 360-degree view of Mars with two cameras.

Hi @nexsi. First of all, why a helicopter? What advantage can we get if NASA spent a significant sum of money to build a helicopter which can transport humans to Mars?

I have a few suggestions to add for your article:

  • You need to cite your images' references. The first image, is it yours? Because it was watermarked with @destasteem so I'm kinda unsure whether you are the one who edited that or @destasteem. If the latter, you need to ask for their permission and attribute it to @destasteem.
  • You need to cite your article reference.
  • In my opinion, you need to write some more. Make it at least more than 300 words.
