Normally Bollywood produces movies which are really cheesy . In almost every Bollywood movies you will find action, romance, comedy, revenge mixed in a single script. But there are film makers you try their best to break that stereo - type and create a film of their own. In recent times we are getting some movie from Bollywood which are really content driven. Those movies are mainly plot driven unlike typical Bollywood movies which are lead actor driven.
Ittefaq has been a good experimental movie in 2017. They unique screenplay and suspense have blown away the audience and that can be seen from this movie's IMDB page. This movie has got 7.3 stars from more that 5 k votes.
Let us talk about the main plot of the film. In the film we see that a renowned writer has been accused of killing his wife. Then he fled from the crime scene and took shelter in another home. Co- incidently in that house police finds another dead body. And that dead body is the owner of that home. And his wife tells the police that the writer killed her husband while he forced himself into her house. But, the writer says that he found that dead body while he came into that house. Neither he had killed the man nor his wife. Now police had to decide which one of them is telling the truth? Is the writer telling the truth or the wife is telling the truth? Two dimension are there in the screenplay.
Sidharth Malhotra played the writer in the movie. He perfectly portrayed a writer who is wounded because of losing his wife. Sonakshi Sinha played the role of the wife and she did well. Akshaye Khanna did an amazing job as the detective who had to find out the truth of the killer.
Abhay Chopra's direction was finominal. In his direction we can find attention to details. He really made the scenes dramatic and ws successful to grab the attention of the audience.
