how to make decisions on the magical fruit of simalakama.

Dear steemians.
It is said that long ago there was a tree called simalakama, or simalakama fruit. It is said that if someone goes to the forest and finds this fruit, it will face a very big problem.

This becomes a very complicated dilemma, because if you leave the fruit of simalakama then your father will die, and if you eat the fruit of the simalakama your mother will die.
you cannot escape the magical fruit, but must face the two things above, eat or let.

So are there other alternatives besides eating or not?
For those of you who are nature lovers, or often traveling to forestry do not worry, and do not panic when finding fruit simalakama.
I think there is a brilliant solution, it's best if you find the simalakama fruit, you should immediately find a monkey, then you give to the monkey simalakama fruit.
Why do I suggest you look for monkeys, because monkeys are fruit-loving animals, almost certainly the monkey will eat the simalakama fruit, and you will feel relieved and grateful because the mother of the monkey will die. so your parents survived the curse of the simalakama fruit.

In our lives today, (in Indonesia) we are often faced with two choices, both choices are very bad. This is what we often hear with the term "like a simalakama fruit"
But for a Muslim, there is a solution taught by his religion in dealing with things like this, namely istikharah prayer, so that God will establish one's heart in taking the right decision from two choices.
And the most important thing is that God will ease what difficulties he has decided.
for all my steemians friends in other countries is there such a term?
Thank you for reading, I always value your support and comments.

I would say, "Damned if you do, damned if you don't," fits the same type of idea around my country. (I personally don't believe in such things though).
I found myself feeling a bit sorry for the monkey. Perhaps a lower life form might be better for taking the curse. Maybe you could bury the fruit in the ground and the worms would suffer the fate of having their mother get killed, lol. :D
thank you for visiting, support, comments and solutions that are very genius.
in my country to this day the term terseut is still very often used.
I don't believe that myself.
thank you @lightsplasher.
