Gorbachev Win!

Today was Taupo Racing Club race day, and such a beautiful day it turned out to be.

I'm not really into gambling at the races but I do have a bet every now and then.

Usually I go down to the owners pen and pick the horse that has the most muscle mass out of all the horses. 9 times out of 10, they always come last.

Will I decided to put all I had on this horse, Gorbachev. $5.00NZ each way.

To Win Big, You Spend Big

It won woohoo, paid out just over $60.00NZ.

It really isn't about winning, it was such a good family outing with something for everyone. There was a lot of activities away from the track for the kids.

Losers Can Win Too

Every time you buy a racing ticket and you lose, you write your name on the back of the ticket then place it in the losers box for a chance to win the hard luck prize. We won it, LoL.

So tomorrow we are going to do this and I will post on how well it goes.
