Abu Thalhah married Umm Sulaim, a beautiful, sharp-eyed woman. From this marriage Umm Sulaim gave birth to a son who was so loved by his father, Abu Thalhah.
Imam al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Anas said the son of Abu Thalhah was ill, Abu Thalhah came out and the child died, when Abu Thalhah came home, he asked, "How is my son?" Ummu Sulaim, the mother's mother replied, "O Abu Thalhah, since he was ill he was never as calm as it is now." Ummu Sulaim prepared dinner, Abu Thalhah ate it, after which Abu Thalhah took his wife, then Ummu Sulaim said, "Fill this child
