A piece of a sad story to remember back in history, because of a developed nation is a nation that remembers history.

A Sad Story The Slaughter Of Civilians In 1999 In Aceh.

The tragedy occurred in Simpang Kuala, District of Idi Cut, East Aceh,
Wednesday morning, 3 February 1999, exactly in front of the Headquarters of the military command and
Local police.

The tragedy of Idi Cut, widely known by the name of ‘the Tragedy of Arakundo’, is an event of the massacre of civilians which occurred February 3, 1999 in Idi Cut, East Aceh.

According to some eyewitnesses, the events that launched the army of the armed forces killed seven people and injured hundreds of other people. The culprit till now has not arrested and tried until today.

The victims of the massacre their bodies plunged into the River Arakundo. This claim is reinforced by the testimony of the victim who hears the words of the soldiers of the armed forces when they are being slaughtered victims: "You killed our comrade. You take them to the river. feel return."

Some other victims mentioned the offenders are members of Battalion Linud 100. As many as 58 victims who was shot is raised to the truck of the apparatus, either already dead or wounded.
