Cryptojacking Attack Raced up to 8,500 Percent

The recent rapidly growing digital money phenomenon has provoked a new type of crime, cryptojacking.

Cryptojacking is when cyber criminals use viruses to search (mine) digital money using their victim devices.

"This type of cyber crime increases as much as 8,500 percent," said Andris Masengi, Country Manager of Symantec Indonesia on Friday (13/4/2018) afternoon in Jakarta.
