Jakarta - Director General of Budget Ministry of Finance Askolani said that the increase in civil servant or civil servant salary is entirely the authority of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Asman Abnur. while the State Personnel Board (BKN) is preparing the concept of the proposed increase in basic salaries of civil servants, which will be enacted in 2019.

head of Public Relations Bureau BKN Mohammad Ridwan said the submission of the increase was submitted considering the draft government regulation (PP) on salary, allowances, and civil servant facilities is still not established. the government regulation was supposed to be a substitute of Government Regulation No. 7 of 1977 on Regulation of Salaries of civil servants, the last amended by Government Regulation No. 30 of 2015.

"The submission of the proposed basic salary increase also includes the analysis of budgetary needs and simulation of fiscal impacts that will be discussed in inter-ministerial / institutional forums," Ridwan said in a press release received on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
