RE: Snowday!!!

in #esteem6 years ago

Oh, wow!!! You win!! I was crying about my one inch of snow/slush I got in the Washington, DC area. Wahhhh! Can you hear me from there?

I was out shoveling at 10pm last night because that is when it stopped and I didn't want it to freeze overnight. It froze anyway, how naive am I?

You have my prayers. OMG! What else can I say?? You people are strong stock!! I would be stuck in a snowdrift somewhere, I just know it! Keep safe and warm out there!

Yikes!

Thanks, I appreciate it! Growing up driving in it every year helps. When it is this cold the snow is more like sand. Less slippery, it just is more of a nuisance. Having 4WD helps but you still have to know what you are doing. The drifting is what can really get you. It seems like there is always oncoming traffic when you come upon a drift so you can't avoid it. It can be like driving through a foot of fresh powder.
