Vision and mission of puskesmas
Learning Accreditation Between Vision and Mission
There is one interesting thing when we listen to how the vision and mission of the Puskesmas is made. When read in one of the Puskesmas missions, listed what is in the vision of the Puskesmas, it immediately becomes a question mark for us who read it. What we need to understand: Vision: relates to the FUTURE to be addressed.
Mission is an activity that we do CURRENT so that the future listed in the vision is achieved. The vision is more inspirational: it gives inspiration or ideas, as well as motivation. If we see the vision: healthy Indonesia in 2010. No verbs there. Mission is: the activities undertaken today, the steps needed to achieve what is coveted in the vision. So this mission involves calling on employees, or cross-actors who will participate in activities that will do what they do, how to do it and why doing it.
So it is not wrong if the Vision Puskesmas refers to the Vision of the Health Department formulated based on the Vision of the Head of the region. Neither the Regent or Mayor. Because the picture or future dreams that are reflected in the thoughts of the Regent and Mayor should be supported thoughts or dreams that are aligned in the field of health. Mission because it is a picture of the activities that will be done in support of achievement of Puskesmas vision: concerning the use of big fund, time and lot of deployment of total employee's existing power. Put simply: The Puskesmas mission statement needs to summarize the statement: what will the Puskesmas do in achieving the vision, who did it, and the benefits the organization gains. The Vision Statement of the Puskesmas will show what the health center organization is like, and what it might look like in the future Puskesmas. Puskesmas Vision should be written clearly, optimistic but still rational. If it is too awkward, it will look like a joke or a joke. For example, "The world's best health care organization." So the vision statement of the Puskesmas should describe what the 5 th - 10 th community health center is going to do, and how the Puskesmas will achieve it.
