Today is #MarketFriday initiated by @dswigle (Denise, of course!). This is a loved challenge and an example of how to initiate and support such a thing ... thanks to Denise.
Today it's a small market because our dear host is far away, over oceans and seas. It will be a short post because on return, Denise will have to read many posts, we need to help her to read it all.
Shopping on the run for a light summer meal
The market is a well-known supermarket where, of course, I find much more than I need. To focus on what I need to do my food ... start with vegetables and fruits.
Several fruits, citrus and melons began their season. Very good to cool us in these days of fire.
Now, after I've chosen everything I need to cook, I can see other things that do not fit into my plans today ... but I like them.
These are for another time for a less vegetarian meal ... more for boys!
A coffee at the end. Always coffee!
Come on cooking!
I made a simple vegetable dish.
3-4 onions
1/2 kg yellow and red pepper
1/2 kg of tomatoes
Oil, salt, pepper...
Wash and clean the vegetables. Onions, tomatoes and peppers are cut into pieces.
In a wok pan put some oil (sunflower in this case but any oil can be used) and put on the fire. Fry, in this order: onions, peppers and tomatoes. Add some warm water if the vegetables stick to the pan. Fry until the vegetables soften.
After the vegetables are cooked, soaked and homogenized, add salt and pepper. The food is ready, it is equally good both hot and cold!
That was the #MarketFriday ... until next time I greet you!
Geography is my specialty and I know where most countries are. Africa occasionally confuses me as they keep changing, but I try to keep up. :)
Thank you so much for the awesome market, as usual, and for your constant support and thoughtfulness. I especially love your recipes and you have really made them your way of #MarketFriday.
So awesome! Thank you. Always the freshest!!
Upped and Steemed Tip!
Geography is very beautiful and I'm glad you're a specialist. I was a good geography connoisseur, but lately I gave up to inform myself, I agree with you that aaboutAfrica is hard to know all the changes. Thank you for your good opinion about my market. Thanks for the beautiful words and the tip.
I love veggies and never use meat,
so, our food bill is low.
Coffee at every meal > that sounds good.
I adore your the recipes near the end.
YOU have the best content and I enjoy coming
to your STEEMIT page. Glad we found each other.
Keep up the great work until next time. . .
Bye from Central Florida, USA & check my market run.

Thank you very much! You never use meat? It's very healthy, I wish I could do that. I'm glad you also think it's good to know each other and appreciate our work. I've always heard like a reality that the Americans do not know and do not care about geography. As most people do not know where Romania is, the country I live in. Now I have to admit that I do not know anything about Central Florida and I will have to document myself. Thanks for the GIF. I like it a lot!
