For those of you who are hobby travelers and coffee lovers to increase stamina ?, Pidie's signature coffee is suitable for you.

For travelers and at the same time culinary hunting hobbies, it is advisable to stop by and taste coffee directly from Basri AR's signature Pidie latte. Because, there we can enjoy the special atmosphere of "Kopi Kocok" which was popular in the 1980s with the atmosphere of community life in the village.

In general, coffee shops in Aceh are known as cafe brand designs complete with their typical furniture style. However, these coffee shops in the interior of Pidie look very simple.

This stall without being fitted with a nameplate is only constructed of bamboo boards and pieces located in Sukon Village, Beuah Lhong, Delima District, about 15 kilometers from Sigli City, Pidie Regency.

One local resident, M.Hhony said, shaking coffee was a special dish for Pidie people in the morning. This is believed to be a coffee from a typical Pidie latte which is mixed with a little coffee and tea and is able to supply additional energy.

"Meunyoe bak kamoe in sinoe coffee whipped nyan was said to be the term" podding "(if for us here the shaking coffee is termed" podding ")," M. John told mediaaceh when met in early December 2016.

M. John said, the habit of residents here often enjoyed it before dawn.

According to him, the majority of the community members as farmers and traders drink coffee as an additional nutritional intake.

This has become a tradition handed down from local youths who love culinary hunting. If the supply runs out, the people here are willing to cross the next village to enjoy a cup of coffee.

"Makajih banleuh Suboh until 8, there are many ramee that ureueng teudeuk like warong, if you don't shake it (that's why after dawn until 8:00 a.m., lots of people here hang out at the coffee shop enjoying a coffee shake)," said M. John again.

Meanwhile, Basri AR as the stall owner revealed a little secret about how to serve a Pidie-style coffee latte that was able to shake the connoisseur's tongue. The menus presented include a chicken egg mixed with a little coffee and tea.

"I just took the yellow egg, after it was beaten and added a little sugar, I mixed it with a little coffee and a little tea that had boiled. This was aimed at increasing the image of the coffee's distinctive flavor and aroma so it wouldn't smell fishy," Basri AR said.

Basri said, his coffee shop had been established since the 1970s. But the dish of his signature whipped coffee has been introduced since the 1990s. Formerly, the coffee shop owned by Teungku Aceh was only an ordinary coffee shop that only served filter coffee and tea.

"So since he (Teungku Aceh) died around the 1980s, I began to manage it and started serving shaking coffee," Basri AR said.

Basri AR said that the shaking coffee began to be known in the 1990s when some residents wanted to enjoy a glass of coffee mixed with chicken eggs. This aims to increase your intake of stamina and extra energy. Over time, Basri began to take the initiative to make a secret recipe so that the image of the taste of coffee and chicken eggs would be more delicious and fragrant. Finally, this shaking coffee is increasingly known to the citizens, so the number of requests from day to day increases.

Well, for those of you who want to try to enjoy a glass of coffee from a typical Pidie latte, you only need to spend Rp. 5,000.

M. Johnny said, Basri's coffee shop became a blue witness as long as the conflict was turbulent in Aceh. Because the coffee shop located on the banks of the Reubee river has become a favorite hangout among former GAM combatants when the conflict raged in Aceh. This is because the location is located in an inland area which is fortified with hills and large rice fields.

As recalled by M. Johnson, this stall has stopped several senior GAM figures such as Jamal Buraq, Arjuna and Robert.

"Even then, Mualem (Muzakir Manaf-ed) during guerrilla here also stopped here. Likewise with a number of other former Tripoli such as Pang Reubee and Tgk Harun
