Japan Change Human Dung into Food

Mitsuyuki Ikeda, a scientist from Okayama Laboratory, believes that many good proteins in human feces can be used. For that, he looked for ways to extract it, mix it with steak sauce, and managed to make the dirt (tai) into food.

One might wonder what the reason for doing that. But apparently, the main reason is the demand from the Tokyo government itself. For information, Tokyo is currently overwhelmed with underground sewage mud, and the only way to overcome it other than by throwing into the sea is by eating the 'impurities'.

When investigated, Ikeda found that the mud was full of proteins because of the large amount of bacterial content there. After being combined with a reaction enhancer and placing it in a magical engine called 'exploder', finally an artificial steak was made.

Dirt mud contains 63 percent protein, 25 percent carbohydrates, 3 percent fat-soluble vitamins, and 9 percent of minerals. The resulting artificial steak was also red, so consumers will not know that what he will eat is stool processed.

"From the first test, people who have tried it mention, it feels like beef," said Ikeda, as quoted from Digital Trends.

According to Ikeda and his colleagues, this is the perfect solution to reduce the amount of waste and emissions from the stomach. But unfortunately, there is still a shortage of solutions offered by Ikeda. The cost of producing artificial 'Meat' is 10 to 20 times more expensive than real beef prices. Dare to try?
