Unikoin Gold - Esports Gambling
The world of Esports is getting big. Once taken as a joke by the generation that grew up with "real" sports has now surprised them by becoming one of the biggest revenue generating annually throughout the world. Nerds took over and showed that there is something really special at being the best at any computer game and the fanbase has exploded watching their favorite players or teams compete in many tournaments hosted yearly with thousands of people in the audience, millions of viewers at home and millions in prizes.
Gambling is something that has existed for the longest time as well but has mostly been controlled by centralized services, much as everything else that blockchain is here and planning to replace sooner rather than later. With the news now that the U.S Supreme Court has opened up the doors for sports gambling to be legalized across most of the country, it is great news for blockchain projects wanting to revolutionize gambling.
The difference between provably fair gambling which has been created through blockchain is that it gives the power to any player to analyze the algorithm and verify the fairness of the bet. This means that third-party verification and auditing is usually unnecessary and it gives trust back to the player that the site did not "rob" you out of your luck. Provably fair systems are also known to have decreased the house margin in general and allowing players to play at minimal edges such as 1%.

Billionaire investor and owner of Dallas' NBA franchise the Mavericks, Mark Cuban is quite intrigued with the idea of blockchained powered casinos lately that he made a bet of his own and allegedly invested 25 million into the esports gambling platform Unikrn which is powered by the cryptocurrency Unikon Gold.
Looking at its chart on coinmarketcap I'd say this could be a pretty good time to consider making a bet of your own into it:
Of course this should not be considered as advice, everyone should do their own research and by checking out their currency site or announcement on bitcoin talk you can. If you realize the risks of investing at something as volatile as cryptocurrencies you should know by now not to invest more than you can afford to lose.
Having said that this does seem like an interesting project and probably worth the consideration. For disclosure I have invested a bit into this currency myself.
@acidyo Dude this is huge news man! Cuban himself has a slew of Followers that follow his moves to the T, I will def be doing my own Due Diligence but just off of "Cuban" being an investor, I might hop on board. The idea behind the US giving the #greenlight as well is more affirmation that I can see this going up for sure!
Me being a #gamer and #livestreamer, and one who watches competitive gaming, I think ESports in general will see a massive wave of new users, who are solely in it for the gambling.
CSGO Skins & Betting, Crypto & Gambling!!! Thanks for bringing the awareness.
They just need to make sure to regulate it so clowns can't show themselves "winning" on their twitch streams with fake mockup sites that show fake winrates. And make a little more effort to stop kids from gambling. And also make more effort towards stopping match-fixing. And the industry needs to cool it with the loot crate and chest+keys gambling. Crazy that China forced companies to disclose the % odds in crates before anyone else did, while everyone in the west has to reverse engineer the winning odds from what people self-report.
Count me among those who like real sports.
Yet, as I recently wrote in a post:
“If I didn’t know better give me a writing acidyo over a gaming acidyo”
Paris is considering eSports for the Olympics. That will be huge.
That said... good to see that a football team (soccer team for the yanks here) also started integrating cryptoes. Yes, of course, it was in Gibraltar.
Together with several football celebrities already being crypto ambassadors, times are looking good.
As for eSports... this market will soon dominate gaming and massive fees will be paid. Most top football teams already have their professional eSports players.
This is undoubtedly one of the hottest markets right now, and probably until at least 2026-2028 due to how long it will take for everyone to be convinced.
Ohhh, that does look interesting indeed. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to check it out a bit.
Wrt Esports, it is great to see how that industry has developed... Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it doesn't have its place and damn, Esports has a solid place.
From the chart seen, it seems the price really went down.
Although, this is my first time hearing of such coin and from the above, it seems a mass adoption will take place sooner or later, a decentralize form of gambling, sounds interesting.
Would have love it, if it was trade-able via Binance.
I think that gamble was initially created because of mans need to grow financially without much effort, and the reults are known on most cases. Now someone could easily say that we pretty much do the same "gamble in cryptocurrencies" but it is way different if you ask me.
So gamble industry will keep growing every year and that's exactly what this is for mr Cuban. An opportunity to become wealthier. As for the coin to be honest I just heard it about you @acidyo and it might worth a shot considering its low price ,09 at the moment.
I wonder what would it take to convince that kind of whales to enter the Steem world. That's what steem needs to explode!
Have a great day bro!
You should probably know that E-sport betting has been legal for quite some time now. understand that the supreme court does not dictate over all the countries in the world. All this aside, insidertips and in some cases completely throwing matches have already taken place in smaller tournaments in EU. i base this on pros admitting to this. example: some matches are played where you can bet on first blood, first tower etc. so when the first blood is drawed, one of the competitors notify friends and the bet is placed.
Yeah it has already been legal in over 100 countries according to the article, but now with the U.S included it could blow up even more!
What irks me a lot is the available supply that is a bit over 100 million to total supply of 1 billion. Price is at floor even when only 1/10 of the total supply is being liquid. Not really encouraging but those who like risk it's an opportunity with long wait included as esports and betting goes mainstream.
i am a bit sad that redeye got the moba thing so wrong, Hon might have been the first standalone Moba game but Dota has been an esport for years before that, hon got released in 2010 but players like kuroky and puppey have played in international lans way before that.
I personally would not take advantage of sports betting. I understand the concern that fixing may come into play, but... since sports gambling is already legal to some extent in certain places, things could already be fixed and in fact have been fixed in the past. I say let it ride, and if problems arise that affect the integrity of a sport, revisit and make adjustments to the law and punish the ones involved.

Gambling have come to stay an nothing is going to change it, the goverment have failed the society on thier part and the only hope for the youth in the society is risk the little money he have, imstead of indulging himself in other anti social activities. IN NIGERIA GAMBLING IS THE HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS.
